Badge machine

For years I have had a children's badge machine which to be fair, only ruined every other badge it made! I finally bought myself a decent machine and it arrived today. Matt was very excited too as these pictures show.

The magic machine!

The machine comes with 3 interchangeable sized dies - 58mm (the purple badge) 38mm (not shown) and 25mm (the blue badge) The 58mm size is big enough to be turned into keyrings, mirrors etc but they make great badges too. I wore one that size this afternoon :)

Shown for an idea of size
Shown for an idea of size (and 'cos it's funny!)
I already love it and it will get a great deal of use including for a range of badges to go to a shop I love in Ilkley! Yeah! Oh and Matt has agreed to take over as Swirlyarts badge maker if I need an assistant!

I do envy you a bit. I have a childrens badge maker and it is pretty good one. But I would love a beautiful 'proper' one like yours.

Have fun.

I am sooooo envious you have a proper badge maker! I got some little hand mirrors made for me with my designs on them a while back and I love them!
The snoopy images are fab! :)

What is it about these machines? I borrowed one from Miso Funky for a weekend and my man about the house (who usually shows no interest in crafting of any sort) was begging to be allowed to help. Once I gave him a go, I didn't get to make a single other badge, plus he made about twice as many badges as I had intended! Perhaps I'll get him a badge machine next Christmas in a completely (a-hem!) selfless act...

Oh and it's orange instead of boring industrial grey. How cool!

It's clear from his posture and his focus that you do very much have a new official badge maker!
