Shoes!

I have always been a huge fan of Swedish clog makers Hasbeens yet I could never justify £125 on a single pair of shoes. I also missed out when they did a collaboration with H&M here in the UK. However I popped into Clarks the other day and found these beauties. OK, they aren't in the delicious colours of their Swedish counterparts but I do love them* all the same!

And the best bit other than they match the Ikea Trofast system too which we use as a coffee table in our front room? They were meant to be £54 but they were reduced to £14.65 in the sale! Bargain :)

*I wore them up to school in the afternoon to pick the girls up and as soon as Anya saw them she said 'weird shoes!' Neither girl likes them but I don't care cos I do!

Oh, what a bargain! I have something similar without the straps, but these are much prettier than mine - very jealous!! BTW - they last forever, I'm on my second pair of Clarks clogs and I love them :)

This reminds me of an incident when I was in my early teens. My Mother was a teacher and had bought some sensible shoes that would be comfortable for all day wear. When she tried them on and asked her kids (6 of us) what we thought of them, kids being kids, we responded, "They look like old lady shoes!" As far as I know, she never wore them.
