Lost my mojo

Has anyone seen my mojo? I have lost all enthusiasm for blogging and making at the moment so it's making this space a little boring. And full of thrifty things which is no bad thing but you know, it's meant to be a craft blog :) I've been ill and the house is chaotic (we have a dining room full of things that belong in Taz and lots of other crap!) So I am going to leave this space well alone for now and concentrate on getting some of the house sorted and then maybe I will want to make some new things :)

This is what we did yesterday - had Tara's fairy party. There is ballerina fairy Tara getting a big hug from pirate A :) She had a brilliant time and so did we. There are some photos floating around somewhere of me and Matt wearing wigs and big clown pants, catching balls :) I'll post them when I see them.

Don't worry! It will surely come back!

I think your mojo and my mojo might be hanging out together on a Hawaiian island somewhere.

Think we've all been here Lynsey! I know I have :) Enjoy some time out and look forward to reading your lovely blog when you get back to it - no pressure though, hehe! xx

You can always escape here and sit in my crap filled house (maybe yours won't seem so bad after) for a change of scene xx

I think it's just that time of year. I'm lacking in enthusiasm at the mo too. It'll sneak back up on you when you least expect it! ;)

I think my blogging mojo is with yours, dropstitch and ClaireP's on that Hawaiian island, possibly sipping mojitos ;) I hope they're enjoying themselves :)

I felt very disinclined to make (or cook, or anything) when I was ill and the house was in chaos for the first few months of the year - the desire to create is returning now though so hopefully the desire to blog will follow in good time too. Hope yours does the same when your world is a bit straighter.

In the meantime, I don't know about everyone else, but I do like the thrifty posts :)

I've had a rather large break from blogging as I got wrapped up in work! Now I have some time back I feel like taking to my keyboard again. I think a break is vital to keep the enthusiasm going. The real world takes over and you have to just go with it or become swamped by a 'crap' filled house.

Enjoy the break!

It will come back, don't worry. I lost my mojo big time after being overwhelmed with inspiration at the Fat Quarterly retreat a few weeks ago. Picking up an entirely new project rather than trying to get on with my WIPs really helped get me back in the swing of it.
