Bookshelf porn!

Following on from button porn yesterday I just have to talk about book porn today :) We love books in our house and have thousands of them scattered everywhere - the girls have bulging bookshelves in their bedrooms, the study and craft room are filled with books and we always have piles of books next to our beds. We even have a dedicated reading area for the kids downstairs! Suffice to say we really like our books in this house. So when I came across Bookshelf Porn I think I actually drooled onto the keyboard! I want to live in all these places but especially love the top photo (it's a bookshop I think but it just looks so cosy!)

Our bookshelves are nowhere near as extensive as this although I think there may be a similar number of books :) I will have to take a picture sometime. Do you like books?

Oh yes, we l-o-v-e books too. I can never really relax in a house with no books- it's just weird.

We love books here! Bookshelves in every room (apart from bathroom), it would be lovely to put them all in one room and have a library, but i'd probably never come out!!

You're becoming my favourite specialist porn supplier ;) My books are out of control, but it would be absolutely fine if we had a library (which we don't) so I'm not going to worry about it.

I took the plunge last year and got a friend (a joiner) to build a whole wall of bookshelves in my snug (small sitting room) around the door. It was full as soon as he had finished and I still have other very full book cases scattered everywhere!!
Love books....no not me!

We LOVE books too, my dream would be to have a little bookshop, but I wouldn't want to part with them :)I can never understand houses with no books in them, very odd. I love rereading old books time and time again, I'm reading Brideshead Revisited again for the millionth time, it's like an old friend visiting.

Ooh the last photo looks like the inside of Shakespeare and Company in Paris - it was my favourite place to hang out if it started raining on my walk home from university!

Ahh the good old days... I currently have 150 books for sale on Amazon while I'm my mission to declutter. Luckily I still have hundreds more, just need some time to read them.

That top photo looks like it could be the Shakespear and Co. book shop in Paris.
