The heavens must have aligned for me post wise this week as the post I had planned yesterday for today was about the tulips I received for Mother Day on Sunday (confused yet?) It works very well for the theme over at Hello Owl for My Place and Yours which is pink.
These are my favourite pink things at the moment - tulips in my bathroom. I have taken a liking to spreading flowers around the house as it brings unexpected colour and scent to the unlikeliest places.
The bottle are vintage and were bought in a job lot from a local auction house. The little one is only about 2 inches high and held teething powder at one stage. The larger one is from a hotel named The Brierley Hotel but I have no idea what it would have held.
Pretty :)

The Tulips look gorgeous. Love your Vintage bottles. Much nicer than modern ones aren't they?
Pretty flowers and love that round bottle - it's a beautiful colour.
I bought my mum yellow tulips - my fave flowers and a sign of spring and nice sunny evenings ahead!
Sorry you didn't get any goodies at your car boot - but the season is just starting so hopefully lots more treasure to come :D x
i never thought of dividing a bunch and putting them out ... and yet it looks beautiful. great flowers.
very pretty in the old bottles :)
very pretty!
The tulips are lovely and look real pretty displayed like that. I tend to put huge bunches in old enamel jugs which also look springlike. Its so nice to see a bit of colour again.

very nice...and a good idea to put them in multiple places around the house!
Tulips are my favorite and I can not wait until they start blooming.
