I was making some robin gift tags on Friday night and Matt suggested that I colour them in yellow and blue and turn them into blue tits. So I tried it and was very pleased at how they came out :)
These will be listed in my shops soon :) Also I want your advice on my robin gift tags - the ones on the right are my 'normal' tags and the ones on the left are the new ones I made after being inspired by both bits of the bird being coloured for the blue tits.
I think I prefer the new ones with the brown and red - what do you think?

I think Matt is right - I love the coloured in ones. The blue bird ones look so springlike too - gorgeous!

Matt's suggestion was very inspired. Lovin the Blue Tit & Robin tags. Perhaps you should expand this idea to other native birds and maybe do some in Football Team Strips too (Black & White like a Magpie for instance - not that I'm a Notts County Fan or anything - don't hold that against me).
definately go for the all coloured version, and you know I love the Robins, had so many lovely comments when I sent them out this Xmas, think I will be back for more soon xxx

I love them all, but if it was a life or death decision ...it would be the brown and reds..

I honestly like both versions of the robins, but I do like the colored-in version a lot.

I'd definately go for the coloured ones. The originals are great but the colour just makes them stand out. The blue tits are fab! Super idea.

I like the blue ones. Would like to see red and yellow too. I kind of like a purple and yellow bird too but that's not very realistic although it would be very whimsical.
I love the brown and red ones too!
