Giveaway!

Phew - I'm finally doing the giveaway I have been planning for weeks! It was meant to be for my 700th post but this is post 724! So what am I giving away? Lots of my recycled envelopes that's what. There are 16 sets of recycled envelopes so I am going to have 4 winners ensuring that you get 4 sets each - perfect for presents for others or for keeping for yourself! If I am feeling generous I may well put some extra goodies in. I will ship worldwide too!

Here are the ones I am giving away.

Lots of nice, bright envelopes recycled from magazines and catalogues. I'm moving away from using magazine pages as envelopes and focusing on using the pages from damaged books etc to make the envelopes instead, hence the giveaway! The giveaway will end on Sunday the 29th November at 9pm (GMT)

All you need to do do is visit one of my shops, Etsy, Folksy or Misi and tell me what you like in there and then what you feel doesn't fit in with the majority of what I am doing. I have my own opinions on this but would love yours too! And please do tweet about it and generally tell everyone you know :)

Hiya, I love your recycled gift tags best of all and if I absolutely have to choose something that probably doesn't totally fit in with the rest of what you're offering, it would be the mixed media artwork.

Hi there, I love it all. I think that the only thing that doesnt really fit in is the broches made from the buttons, but then I suppose the buttons are recycled too. I love it all and think it is really cool

hmmm in terms of feedback on your shop i guess there are a few different themes of things - the cutesy stuff colourful stuff vs the vintage retro stuff...maybe you could seperate them?

I've been browsing in your folksy shop. I have always been a BIG fan of your chicken doorstops, ad wonder if it's now time to split into two shops with all you recycled paper lovelies in one, and the fabric brooches and chickens etc in another?

Maybe the chickens could have their own shop?

There's loads of things I love in your shops, but the chicken's always stand out as my absolute favourites :)

As for feedback about your shops, I think my thoughts echo those of niftyknits about textiles and paper items working well in their own seperate shops.

I just love the chickens. I'm especially fond of the plaid and tweed variations.

As for shop feedback, I think maybe the chickens deserve their own separate place, and the "paper craft" its own place, since they seem very different in style? You've got such a niche with the chickens that they seem sort of out of place with the other things....

Hope that's helpful! If not, throw it out. ;)

Hmm, tricky, you make such good stuff! Your recycled tags are my favourite, I think they're your signature item.
I think your mixed media artworks are gorgeous themselves and maybe they would stand out more if they were separated from your other items. Just a thought!

Ooh I love your recycled paper things, especially the gift tags. I think some other people have summed it up, maybe seperate your chickens from your paper items?

I popped on over to your shop, but, I couldn't pick a favourite - everything was just too adorable... but perhaps the cheeky chickens?
BTW love your blog & etsy banners - sweet as pie!

I love all of your goodies (especially the chicken door stops, and the badges/ brooches)

I guess I dont really think the London Underground pieces blends with the rest of the shop though- everything else you have has a beautiful soft nostalgic look about it, and these are perhaps a bit out of place.

Love your style,

I like the eco-giveaway! I kind of have a funny answer to your question. I love, love, love your button brooches, but I do think they are the one type of item which doesn't fit in that well with the rest of your gorgeous work.

Hello!! I love your gift tags, I think they’re really brilliant! Not so sure about the ACEO artwork though, but it’s probably that I just don’t get it!!

I LOVE the Peter & Jane recycled notebook! I have the most fondest memories of learning to read with these books! :)

Seven hundred and twenty four? Holy moly! I particularly like your chicken linesand upcycled paper goods, for me they are your signature and the button brooches, although gorgeous are, for me, the odd one out. I wonder if you could make a box for them from some repurposed print and use the colours to inspire a button brooch? -it might tie them in more?

My favourites are the recycled notebooks : ) And the envelopes made from maps, they are great!
If I had to pick something that doesn't fit, I would say the chicken doorstops - only because the rest of your shop has a paper theme. Thanks for a great giveaway : )

I like your chicken doorstops! How cute are they! Your tags are good.

I think the mixed media stuff is odd in your collection. Looks just like a mishmash of stuff to me sorry!!! They aren't horrible or anything, but don't seem to blend in with your other stuff to me.

I love your envelopes and tags made from maps! The chicken doorstops seem to me like they maybe don't quite fit in with everything else - but they're SO cute!

I love your brooches and badges Lynsey! Your mixed media work is fab - perhaps they deserve their own space to give them the credit they deserve?

I love your designs, as you know! I looked in your Folksy shop. My fave is your chicken gift tags. I would say your peg bags, brooches & chickens could possibly do with a place of their own, allowing your recycled papercraft a place of it's own! I have a dilemma between my buttons & my knitting/sewing but am hesitant to open another shop! X

I love your chickens! So much! I think that they definately deserve a coop of their own, their own little shop. I also live your London Underground badges, so fun.

I love the gift tags! I'm really into the recycled stuff. Maybe your chickens should be separate from the other things. Great stuff!!
