Lovely lovely mention!

A lovely lady I know online informed me the other day that I was mentioned in Sew Hip (a UK based sewing magazine) Oooooooh I thought! It turns out that Michelle from the oh so fantastic Craftsville has been interviewed by them and she was asked to mention which articles on Craftsville were her favourite.

Can you guess who was mentioned?? Can you?? I'll bet you can't!

And I'm mentioned first :D :D :D The mention is in the Do It Yourself section and is the tutorial for my padded envelopes which you can find on Craftsville here. If you click on the photograph you can see the text better. And apologies for the awful photographs - they were taken late last night!

I'm thrilled to be mentioned in a national magazine even if it is only a tiny mention :) Thanks Michelle!

Owl

Look at this gorgeous owl - he was perching on a roof near to the park this week and wasn't at all phased by lots of people standing looking at him!

There has been some debate whether he is an eagle owl or a long eared owl - I have no idea myself! Matt tried to take a photograph with his phone but it didn't come out - this photograph was taken by Steven who is dad to a little girl who goes to nursery with Tara. So big thanks to Steven and Margaret for the photo. If anyone who reads this blog has any idea which type of owl this is then do let me know :)

I've figured it out!

Not that it is a problem (far from it!) but I was wondering why Chicken Pox had been selling well recently - it's because I am on the Shop Handmade UK blog as one of their favourite UK designers :) Well, it's an Etsy mini of their favourite items and Chicken Pox is featured and it does say 'our favourite UK designers' across the top - I am pleased!!

It's rather small but you can see Chicken Pox at the top there!

Belinda, who runs the blog, also has a Folksy shop called Mia Belle. Some gorgeous jewellery in there! So if you read this Belinda - thank you!
