Crafting

As you may have noticed the Crafting 365 has fallen by the wayside over here - I am still crafting most days but I just haven't got time to document it every day and blog about it. So I am giving it up :) So onto some actual crafting that has been going on.

These little guys have been listed in all of my shops so if you want to purchase some then you have a choice as to where to buy them - Etsy, Folksy or Misi.

I decided (with lots of help from the lovely people that read this blog) that the brown and red robins were the better of the 2 types. So my shops have been updated with the photographs of these robins :)

And I listed these Teddy Bears Picnic gft tags last night and they sold after 10 minutes - I like quick sales :)

I have also been busy making some recycled stickers - this is the first set listed. If you look at the third picture in the listing you will see a very cute baby mouse in a pram!

That is all for now although I am hoping to list more things today :)

Sale items part 3 - clothes

There are lots of items so you might need a brew to sit through this!

A pretty blouse with pink embroidery - needs a new button but I have plenty :)

Spotty!

A very cool jumper - and it fits perfectly!

This is apparently from a series of crime novels but I thought it might be for this lady :) It's perfect for exercising.

This is perfect for walking in - I wore it yesterday.

Tiger t-shirt. I couldn't resist it even though it will only be worn in bed!

Matt and my mum laughed when I got this but they did concede that it looks better on :)

Two fab tank tops - the one at the top was new.

Another dress

A light cotton dress with pretty lace collar - perfect for summer.

Gorgeous pink skirt

Bright yellow skirt

A trio of pretty nightgowns

A very cute Wombles t-shirt that is too small for Tara - boo. I might keep it for the teddies :)

And the piece de resistance is this wonderful 3 piece bikini. Does it fit - yes. Does it look good - no! The bra section doesn't leave much to the imagination and the shorts are a little tight. However I couldn't leave it there even with the howls of laughter from my mum :)

That is the last of the sale goodies - part one is here and part two is here. Not bad for 2 and a half bags full!

Owl

Look at this gorgeous owl - he was perching on a roof near to the park this week and wasn't at all phased by lots of people standing looking at him!

There has been some debate whether he is an eagle owl or a long eared owl - I have no idea myself! Matt tried to take a photograph with his phone but it didn't come out - this photograph was taken by Steven who is dad to a little girl who goes to nursery with Tara. So big thanks to Steven and Margaret for the photo. If anyone who reads this blog has any idea which type of owl this is then do let me know :)

New tags

I was making some robin gift tags on Friday night and Matt suggested that I colour them in yellow and blue and turn them into blue tits. So I tried it and was very pleased at how they came out :)

These will be listed in my shops soon :) Also I want your advice on my robin gift tags - the ones on the right are my 'normal' tags and the ones on the left are the new ones I made after being inspired by both bits of the bird being coloured for the blue tits.

I think I prefer the new ones with the brown and red - what do you think?

My Creative Space

Today I am going to be working my way through my mega to do list.

Since I took a large selection of my things to Samlesbury the other day I have been looking at my shops and they look a little depleted. The main things are in there like chickens I know I can make again and ditto for tags but the one off gift tags and envelopes are missing. So they are on the list to make.

And this gift tag is actually hiding a phone number on my list but I will be making more of these alien gift tags later too. I had made a nice little pile of them (they take ages to do as each one is individually drawn) but then Tara knocked her juice over and managed to ruin 11 of these tags and about 10 assorted other ones - grrrrrrrrrrr!

Check out more Creative Spaces at Kootoyoo!

Sale items part 2 - linens

Some of the fabrics/linens I got at the sale in the £3 bag :) I have to say that we had 3 bags between us - all the stuff wasn't in one particular bag!

Cute duvet cover

Tablecloth - love the embroidery!

Some more embroidered goodies.

A gorgeous tablecloth with embroidery commemorating the coronation of 1937. George and Elizabeth (Queen Mother) in case you were wondering!

Pillowcases!

These pillowcases (I got 2 of these) are gracing our bed as I type!

This wash bag just begged to come home with me!

Scarves!

Cushion cover

A hankie!

Some fabulous fabric - barkcloth I think! I see a chicken :)

A new stockist!!

I went to Samlesbury Hall today to have a quick meeting about them stocking some of my items in their gift shop and they took all of the stock I took with me to show them - to say I am thrilled is an understatement!

However it does mean that my online shops will be very short of stock for a while as I make more envelopes, gift tags, chicken doorstops and pincushions. It will help me to use up some of my stash at least :D
